Whilst investigating the death of a local actor, a special shopkeeper called Jenny Noris uncovers a legend about a supernaturally-cursed, ripped banana circulating throughout Devon. As soon as anyone uses the banana, he or she has exactly 400 days left to live.

 

The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when photographed, they look pickled. A marked person feels like a wicked horse to touch.

 

Jenny gets hold of the banana, refusing to believe the superstition. A collage of images flash into her mind: a tender pigeon balancing on a magical actor, an old newspaper headline about a hit and run accident, a hooded kitten ranting about eyebrows and a drinking well located in a beautiful place.

 

When Jenny notices her feet have horse-like properties, she realises that the curse of the ripped banana is true and calls in her sister, a scout called Chloe Ball, to help.

 

Chloe examines the banana and willingly submits herself to the curse. She finds that the same visions flash before his eyes. She finds the tender pigeon balancing on a magical actor particularly chilling. She joins the queue for a supernatural death.

 

Jenny and Chloe pursue a quest to uncover the meaning of the visions, starting with a search for the hooded kitten. Will they be able to stop the curse before their time is up?

Mik�zben egy helyi sz�n�sz hal�la �gy�ben nyomoz, egy k�l�nleges boltos, Jenny Noris felt�r egy legend�t egy term�szetfeletti el�tkozott, let�pett ban�nr�l, amely Devonban kering. Amint b�rki felhaszn�lja a ban�nt, pontosan 400 napja van h�tra.

 

A pusztul�sra �t�lt kevesek h�tk�znapi embereknek t�nnek a mindennapi �letben, de ha lef�nyk�pezik, ecetesnek t�nnek. A megjel�lt szem�ly gonosz l�nak �rzi mag�t, hogy meg�rintse.

 

Jenny megfogja a ban�nt, nem hajland� hinni a babon�nak. K�pkoll�zs villan fel az elm�j�ben: egy gyeng�d galamb egyens�lyoz egy var�zslatos sz�n�szen, egy r�gi �js�gc�m egy eltal�lt balesetr�l, egy csukly�s cica, aki a szem�ld�k�t h�borog, �s egy iv�k�t egy gy�ny�r� helyen.

 

Amikor Jenny �szreveszi, hogy l�bai l�szer� tulajdons�gokkal rendelkeznek, r�j�n, hogy a kit�pett ban�n �tka igaz, �s seg�ts�g�l h�vja n�v�r�t, a Chloe Ball nev� cserk�szt.

 

Chloe megvizsg�lja a ban�nt, �s k�szs�gesen al�veti mag�t az �toknak. Azt tapasztalja, hogy ugyanazok a l�tom�sok villannak fel a szeme el�tt. A var�zslatos sz�n�szen egyens�lyoz� gyeng�d galambot k�l�n�sen hidegr�z�nak tal�lja. Be�ll a sorba a term�szetfeletti hal�l�rt.

 

Jenny �s Chloe egy k�ldet�st folytatnak, hogy felt�rj�k a l�tom�sok jelent�s�t, kezdve a csukly�s cica felkutat�s�val. Vajon siker�l meg�ll�tani az �tkot, miel�tt lej�r az idej�k?
